Latest news for NFSW:

After a hectic few days, CES 2011 is finally over! Here’s a quick report on Need For Speed World’s presence at the world’s largest annual consumer technology tradeshow.

At the Dolby booth in the Las Vegas Convention Centre where CES was being held, Need For Speed World headlined the gaming aspects of Dolby’s multi-faceted showcase. Visitors queued to compete against each other in private multiplayer races on the live server, while voice chatting via headsets with microphones. Despite all the noise on the show floor, players had no problems receiving instructions from the Dolby coordinator, and were having tons of fun chatting with one another while racing.

At the same time, Dolby also held a special event called the Dolby Definition Lounge at the famous “Rain man” suite in Caesar’s Palace to showcase their latest PC and home entertainment technologies to exclusive members of the media. Here, the stylish gaming corner gave them the chance to race against players on the show floor as well.
