After patch 1.3 RIFT now supports addon useage. Many people been looking for addons asap the patch was dispatched, but hard to find, most of them find none.

Few weeks after the patch, you can now download RIFT addons via http://rift.curse.com/downloads/rift-addons/ . Not many addons are available at the moment but hey, better something than nothing.

RIFT Planes Of Telara : Open Beta !

Open beta (Beta 7) for RIFT is now open for signups. This will be the final beta event before launch. Anyone can participate by creating Trion account for this event.

All content from previous beta phases will be available along with two new zones, one new dungeon and an increased level cap of 42. The event will be open for six days, starting on 15 Feb at 10AM Pacific Standard Time and ending on 21 Feb at 10AM PST. Pre-patching for the event has already begun, so be sure to download early and avoid the opening day rush.

It's that time again!

Beta 5 invites will start going out tonight!

Reminders:

The emails will be sent in waves throughout the weekend. So don't panic if you don't get yours right away.

Once the emails are sent, you should be able to log into your account and have the option to click the EULA link and proceed from there to be able to download or patch the game. You may possibly have that option before the email reaches you. So check your account from time to time to see if that is enabled.

If you just applied your VIP code today (or later) you may not get your invitation right away. As has happened in past beta events, we will continue to send out invites even after the event has started. So just apply your code and try to be patient. We are sending out a lot of invites and it may take a while to get them all sent.

I will update you when invites have all been sent. Once we have sent them all, I'll update you on what to do if you still haven't gotten yours.

Again, please don't panic until I make the announcement that all invites have been sent. If we have sent them all and you don't get yours, we will have a process in place to take care of you. Our wonderful CS Team did a great job of taking care of problems that arose last time and they'll be ready for this event as well.
