The Secret World Beta Sign Up

Funcom announced that The Secret War, browser-based online social experience inspired by the conflict between the secret societies in Funcom's upcoming MMORPG The Secret World, has launched.

The Secret War will run as a campaign where players get to actively spread the influence of their secret society in a highly interactive experience that tracks each secret society’s level of power in the world.

Players start by taking a unique personality to determine what secret society they belong to. After joining a secret society, players are immediately placed in the middle of the secret war and can start recruiting agents to their cause through their Facebook friends list. Players will have to deploy agents to different countries to increase the influence of their secret society in those regions.

As you assist your secret society in their bid for world domination, you will climb their ranks and unlock a wealth of exclusive rewards that can be used in‘The Secret World’ MMO at launch, such as clothes, weapons, elixirs and more. TERA Online Open Beta

Only one day left before TERA heads into the open beta phase! Time for us to talk about everything you need to know about this test stage.
All servers for our open beta will open on Thursday, 19^th of April at 3 pm CEST / GMT +2 and they will stay open until midnight CEST / GMT +2 on Tuesday, 24^th of April 2012.
The following servers will be available during open beta:

• Server 1: Velik – Type: PvE – Language: EN/EU
• Server 2: Allemantheia – Type: PvE – Language: EN/EU
• Server 3: Essenia – Type: PvP – Language: EN/EU
• Server 4: Kaia – Type: PvE – Language: DE
• Server 5: Elion – Type: PvP – Language: DE
• Server 6: Elinu – Type: PvE – Language: FR
• Server 7: Callida  – Type: PvP – Language: FR

* The amount of servers and server types are subject to change for the head start and launch of TERA.
The level cap during open beta will be at level 32. Everyone is allowed to create 2 characters on each server. All characters will be deleted at the end of the open beta to prepare the servers for the pre character creation (name reservation) and head start for pre-order customers.

How can I join the open beta?
Everyone who redeemed a key will be able to access the servers during open beta, this including CBT 1-5, single CBT keys, pre-order or full version keys and also sneak peek key users. In case you’re totally new to TERA and have no account or key redeemed so far, there is no need to worry, just follow the below listed steps:

1.    Create an account for TERA or login into your existed account right here.

2.    Click on the button “Enter Code” in the upper right corner.

3.    Enter the following code: TERABETA

4.    Click on Submit.

5.    TERA has now been added to your game list, you can now click on the button “Download Game”.

6.    This will download the launcher, in the launcher itself you need to login with your account details and after that the actual client download will happen.

7.    Please be aware that you temporary need around 50 GB of free disk space. After the download and installation is complete the client will have a size of roughly 24 GB.

In case you already participated in previous test sessions you’ll just need to download the latest client version through the launcher as a patch.
We’ll release further information on the pre-character-creation (name reservation) and head start for pre-order customers soon.
The open beta is not under NDA, so you’ll be free to offer live streams, share impressions, screenshots and videos with everyone.

Guild Wars 2 Beta Weekend Announced!

We’re counting the days until the first public Guild Wars 2 Beta Weekend Event, which begins on Friday, April 27, at noon PDT (GMT-7) and ends on Sunday, April 29, at 11:59 p.m. PDT (GMT-7). Hundreds of thousands of players from around the world will get their first taste of Guild Wars 2—and rest assured, we’ll be playing alongside them!
There are a couple important things you need to know about this Beta Weekend Event:

• The only way to absolutely guarantee your access to this or any future Beta Weekend Events is to pre-purchase any edition of Guild Wars 2.
• Customers who have pre-purchased the game will receive an e-mail next week with instructions on how to download the client and participate in the Beta.
• This is a public event, which means that you’re not bound by a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA). So go ahead, feel free to take screenshots, shoot video, blog, tweet, write, or compose a rock opera to share your Guild Wars 2 experience with the world.

Let’s take a look at all the cool stuff you’ll be doing during the Beta Weekend Event.
Choices, Choices – You’ll create your own personalized charr, human, or norn character and pick from our eight powerful professions. Your choice of race is vital to your personal story, and it determines in which of the huge starting areas you begin as well. A noble human mesmer will have a radically different game experience than a charr engineer in the service of the Iron Legion. Fortunately, you can roll more than one character and sample each starting area for yourself!

Worlds Collide – If you want your PvP on an epic scale, look no further than World vs. World, where three teams comprising hundreds of players wage open war across four vast maps. You’ll lay siege to castles, raid supply camps, build devastating weaponry, ambush your foes, and leap into truly massive PvP battles—all for the glory of the server. We’re warning you: WvW is so addictive that you may spend the entire Beta Weekend Event there!
PvP For You and Me – After you’ve gotten your feet wet, put your newfound skills to the test in Guild Wars 2 PvP, where small teams battle for points on a variety of challenging, compact maps. We adjust the level of PvP combatants so that all players are on equal footing. If you’ve got a competitive streak or you like playing first-person shooters online, you owe it to yourself to try out Guild Wars 2 PvP!
I Love L.A. – For the first time ever, we’re opening the metropolis of Lion’s Arch to beta players. Wander the streets of this cosmopolitan trade hub, chat with traders and travelers from every corner of Tyria, hop through one of the many asura gates to points beyond, or discover the famed diving platform at Diverse Ledges. Lion’s Arch is a city like no other!

As you can see, there’s a ton of stuff to do in the upcoming Beta Weekend Event on April 27-29. It’s honestly way more content than one person can experience in 60 hours of playing—and we haven’t even included the asura and sylvari in this beta! Fortunately, this will not be the last Beta Weekend Event before launch—stay tuned for more news regarding the next event.

TERA Online Now Available for Pre Order!

TERA news is coming fast and furious lately, and luckily for En Masse, today's blurb is a good one. The game is officially available for pre-order, and as you would expect, there are all kinds of options relating to various gifts and gadgets depending on where (and what version) you purchase. There's also a bit of beta bribery in the form of automatic access to all five of the closed testing phases that begin this month and continue through April.

What about the editions?

Well, you can choose between standard, digital collector's, and physical collector's version, and the latter two come with an in-game mount and a couple of unique necklace items. The physical collector's edition justifies its $79.99 price point with a cloth map, a soundtrack CD, a handbook, a compass, and a letter of marque. Guild Wars 2 Closed Beta Officialy Begun!

This is a big day for ArenaNet and numerous Guild Wars 2 fans worldwide! After revealing the eighth profession, the mind-bending Mesmer, the closed beta date has finally been unveiled. According to a post from today's Reddit Ask Me Anything session, Guild Wars 2 will officially enter closed beta this Friday.

We will officially enter Closed Beta Testing this Friday. It will be marked with an increase in our pool of testers. To clarify, this phase of testing is still under NDA and is not open to the public.

Since it is not a public test, in fact, it's a friends and family type beta and under NDA so don't expect to see much information coming out. With regard to the application process, ArenaNet explained in the Guild Wars 2 Guru's IRC dev chat, saying that "We have a studio internal selection process for our Closed Beta that starts on Friday. There will be no public application form." Anyway, it is a piece of good news for those eager fans as closed beta is underway and this indicates that we've get closer to the release date.
